Monday's child is fair of face.
Tuesday's child is full of grace.
Wednesday's child is full of woe.
Thursday's child has far to go
Friday's child is loving and giving.
Saturday's child works hard for a living.
And the child born on the Sabbath day Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay.

Gay in the old-fashioned sense meaning happy, of course.

My husband and I were totally screwed by this poem.  He was born on Wednesday, and his life has been full of more than his fair share of woe, but its been better since we've been together.  I was born on a Saturday, which isn't as bad, but I hate working!  If only I had waited thirty more minutes, I would have been born on a Sunday.
