Day 3 of the Snowpocalypse.  Baltimore got 26.5 inches.  This was my car on Saturday morning:

Matthew has since shoveled off the side facing the sidewalk.  I plan on shoveling one side a day.  I don't have to drive anywhere until Wednesday.

I left the shovel inside the front door as a hint to my downstairs neighbors that they could feel free to shovel as well.  So far this winter only I have done it.  Amazingly, the 2nd floor neighbors did clear the stairs and front path.  Maybe because there would have been no way to get out otherwise.

The grocery store was closed yesterday, but the corner liquor store was open and doing brisk business.  I went to get some provisions we forgot (Guinness for Matthew, Hostess cupcakes for me).

Everybody was walking in the street, but I found out that the sidewalk was all cleared across the street from me, as long as you walk single file.

Matthew and I watched a sedan attempt to leave for two hours with no success.  When I went to the store, she was back to her parking space, on the phone "Because I have to deal with your bullshit during a snowstorm!" I heard her say to someone on her cell phone.  You tell 'em!
